Blow Dryer Savvy

    • When blow drying, keep nozzle of dryer off of hair and brush bristles to avoid heat damage. Try holding the dryer at least three inches away from your hair.
    • To control cowlicks in bangs, start drying the bangs first, brushing straight down and then side to side until completely dry.
    • Always dry your hair until slightly damp before using your brush. Drying time goes much faster and you’ll have better results. For those with fine hair, tip your head upside down while drying until nearly dry, then work with the brush.
    • For those with long or thick hair who desire a smoother look, divide hair into sections first, starting in the back, remembering the lesson from section 3. After one section is dried, pull the next section down and continue until the desired style is achieved.
    • Use the products that your stylist recommends to you along with application instructions. All of us have had someone in our chair say,”I can’t make my hair look the way you do.” Yes you can. It’s all in the products and the brush and we are more than happy to give you a quick lesson before you leave our chair.
